A First on Fox

I was on our local Fox News affiliate this morning—my first time in many years to do a news show. The morning news was covering a scrapbook expo held here in Salt Lake City, and Stampin’ Up! actually has a booth where we are promoting Stampin’ Up!, including our new Paper Pumpkin. So the news team invited us to do a quick spot.

Morning talk shows are a little different; they feel a little more comfortable and casual. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the news angle, but it wasn’t that much different. The spot was short, the host (Keri Cronk) was gracious, and we kept the focus on the news angle they had asked for—crafting and creativity can be quick and easy. . . anyone can do it!

Of course, that’s exactly what Paper Pumpkin is all about, so I had no problem with that! I barely had time to mount a stamp and didn’t have time to demonstrate anything, but that’s news for you. I haven’t seen the spot myself yet (can’t find the link on the Fox 13 Utah news site; I’ll keep looking and I’ll share it if I find it), but I’m grateful for the opportunity to share a great product and a great company!
