Last month I was asked by one of the local missionaries, who works with us in the mission office, if she could have a Stampin' Up! party. Of course I said YES! I knew a local demonstrator, so I gave Cindy a call and told her I would do all the stamping if she would take care of everything else. Thankfully she agreed.
The party was yesterday out on the lanai with a light breeze to keep us cool. Cindy took the lead and shared a little about Stampin’ Up!, why she loves being a demonstrator, and gave away prizes; I demonstrated a few items; the guests made two of the cards; and Betsy treated all of us to a lovely lunch.
It was a delightful Saturday morning, stamping and visiting with a dozen friendly women, while enjoying the view of Diamond Head and the beautiful ocean…all on the lanai.
Below are the samples I showed. Betsy wanted to learn more about Framelits and Thinlits, and I wanted to keep the samples simple and the supplies to a minimum. So the two stamp sets I featured were You’re So Sweet and Awesomely Artistic, and I used Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and PL Cards & Labels Framelits.
