Tanner’s Home

Wednesday was a special day when we greeted our oldest grandson, Elder Tanner White, home from a two-year mission in the Portland, Oregon area. Seeing him for the first time at the airport was a tender moment, but the sweetest and most memorable time for me was when he shared with us some of his mission experiences and his testimony just prior to being released. We’re proud of Tanner and the choice he made to sacrifice and serve the Lord, and we’re so glad he’s home!

Ashton is really into Star Wars these days. He can’t seem to get enough of the movies, and he has lots of Star Wars Legos. When he saw his gift packaging, he immediately recognized that it was meant to be R2-D2 from Star Wars. I think it’s clever and cute, and I think Ashton’s pretty cute too!

Yay for Family

Our summer reunion up at Panguitch Lake was the usual nice time visiting with family and watching the cousins play together. The few things that set this year apart were taking Ashton, Cooper, and Phoebe with us, trying all of Chad’s Dutch oven dishes, a baby shower for Alexa, and temporary glitter tattoos. Even with all the brush fires nearby, we escaped the smoke, the weather was perfect, and we had a wonderful time! Yay for family!
