Employee Appreciation 2019

We have some pretty amazing employees, so each spring we express appreciation for them and all they do over lunch. Of course, we can’t be everywhere, so we ask employees around the world to send photos of their lunch. Thanks to the nearly 500 employees worldwide who make Stampin’ Up! so special!

When Owen turned two, this was his gift packaging because he loves cars and had to have three in his hand all at once. Actually, he loves lots of things…trains, making and playing in tunnels—well, life! He’s happy and full of energy—ALL the time!

Zach’s Goal

Zach’s goal, after finishing high school and going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is to join the army (the Green Berets, to be exact!), so I felt something camouflage was appropriate for his birthday gift packaging.

Kona and Karate

Kona has been in karate for years now, and he takes it very seriously, so this was his birthday gift packaging. The photo of Kona with his medals, from his first tournament, shows just how much he’s grown up…literally—I think he’s taller than me!

Makai’s Pirate Packaging

This was Makai’s birthday gift packaging (so cute and clever, I think!) because he’s into all things pirate. In fact, his bed is a pirate ship! Happy Birthday, Baby

I tell Liam and Abbie “Shanna will always be my baby,” and they think that’s so funny! Today’s Shanna’s birthday, and although Facetime is better than nothing, I wish I could be with her and give her a big birthday hug. Instead, I sent this gift bag to her a week ago. Have a happy birthday, Shanna! Love you!

Wintery Scene for Cooper

While Cooper is good at a lot of things, a wall in the game room is filling fast with his oil paintings, so this birthday “package” seemed appropriate. There’s a tag (and money) tucked in a paper pocket on the back of the mini canvas. Plus, it’s appropriate because this wintery scene has been a familiar one around here, especially lately!

Guests of Honor

Gail and Jim Murray were our guests of honor this week for Gail’s million-milestone celebration, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to recognize her for her incredible achievement. Every time an achiever walks through our Riverton doors, with all the employees cheering, I get the chills. As Gail walked in, she mentioned that no number of videos can prepare a person for that feeling. It’s amazing!
