Winners and New Challenge Coming

I haven't taken the time to blog while we've been in Hawaii, and I must admit, I don't feel too badly about it! While I've missed communicating with you, it's been heavenly to relax and not have anything too pressing to do. However, I realized today that it is the 16th, and I try to have a new Creative Challenge announced by the 15th. I have to be honest and admit that I haven't even thought about it while basking in the hot Hawaii sun! Please forgive me. I'll try to come up with a new challenge in the next couple of days.

I'm also very excited to choose the winners for this last Creative Challenge. I haven't looked at all the submissions at length yet, but the brief glimpses I've seen during the last month have been inspiring. I'll choose those winners soon as well.

I'll get back into the groove as soon as I get back. Until then (we catch our flight home on Tuesday), I do thank you for your patience!

Hope all is well with you and your's. I am quite envious of your trip to Hawaii; both the warmth and the time with your husband. Although you have not actually posted a separate challenge, you had stated the obvious that it would relate to the December Holidays. On that note, here is a set of cards that I made a couple for family, but the twelve that use the Gratuitous Graffiti background stamp are for injured troops. I used the sentiment “You mean everything to me” from the always set because these men and women are the ones who ensure our way of life though defense of the US Constitution. They really do mean everything to me, each and everyone. As Thomas Paine wrote, “He that would make his own liberty secure must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself.”

Best to you and all you do,
Markey

Hi Shelli,
Please visit my blog at www.stampwithus.com. Please consider it for your Creative Challenge.

I hope you'll find the time to see the photo of my home on Christmas Eve. All of my Christmas tree ornaments are handcrafted by me.

I hope you'll take the time to watch my video as my 8-year old son shows you how easy it is to use the Decor Elements.

I also have a unique way of displaying my diecut snowflakes.

Thanks for taking the time to visit.
