My Celebrate Spread
I’m so excited to share my idea for this month’s SoShelli.com challenge--and to look at yours.
These pages highlight family photos taken at Convention 2008. We love being silly in front of the camera! I used our convention colors and then spotted a quilt in a Pottery Barn catalog, which was the inspiration behind the design.
I think journaling is very important in scrapbooking, but I wanted to show as many photos as I could, so I solved the dilemma by tucking some journaling behind the large photo.
You need to know I haven't looked at a single entry because I didn't want to be influenced (or copy) any of your original works of art, but now that I've posted mine, I get to start looking!
Be sure to send in your submissions in the next week or two; the deadline for submissions will be August 30, and I’ll post my favorites the week after!

I am amazed that you can find the time to run a successful company, spend quality time with your family, scrapbook AND read pottery barn catalogues!
I know in theory the company was created because you wanted quality for your own craft but to see that you can still find the time to craft is refreshing.
This page is gorgeous!
I quite often get distracted by the beautiful dsp's and prints packs that I forget about making my own patterned paper with stamps
Hey, did you ever receive the "shoe" cake server I brought for you last convention? I had to leave it with one of your employees. Hopefully you got it!
Thanks for sharing.
Hugs!
You are a true leader in every sense of the word. Thank you! Sarah :)
HUGS!

I need to mention my immense feeling of frustration that I am having right now! After about 1/2 hour of time spent uploading my challenge creation to my DBWS (including putting my detailed recipe), I clicked on "save" and was told that my session "timed out"!....so, I guess I'll forget about entering my card...........I just don't have the time to waste trying to upload it again! Yes, I'm very frustrated..........to say the least.
