Happy Holidays Card Challenge

I’ve mentioned before that I’d like to be on top of things better than I sometimes am, and this month’s challenge could help me out with that.

I used to send out Christmas greetings every year, but it always turned out to be such a stressful, last-minute thing that I ended up often sending them out late. Eventually, I just decided to send out my greetings in the spring or summer!

This year, though, I’d love to see your ideas. I imagine some of you had your Christmas cards designed months ago, and some of you may even have them made! I’m jealous! But whether you’ve got them already designed or not, hopefully this month’s challenge will help us all start getting into the holiday spirit!

It's November 1st and I feel like I should have done more holiday stamping already, but the truth is, I'm just getting started! Here's a couple cards I made already. I'll have to post again later this month when I get more done.

Hi Shelli... I made mine hoping to attract some potential customers as I am my best client :-)

I am hoping to start my business and to do so, I will be having a stamp as stack and these are the 5 cards that we will be making... so far 2 people should be joining me... (it has to start somewhere, right?) Enough bla, bla... here are my cards, hope they will catch your attention. Thanks for looking.

I like to try and "think outside the box" with my stamp sets...not always easy for me...but I try..LOL...but I used the Circle Circus mostly for these cards...love the red~green~and white combination...these would be a great starting point for my cards as they went together quite well.

Here's one that I did this year going for the "simple, but elegant" look:

Here's a stair-step card I had some fun with. It features both "Lovely as a Tree" and the SU retired set "Holiday Hedgehogs" and LOTS of dazzling diamonds.

After recently finishing my first attempt at a tri-shutter mini album, I thought, "I wonder what this would look like in miniature as a Christmas ornament/gift/greeting?" So, I got busy with that as well. Here are a couple of views:
Closed (as if hanging on a tree)

and
Open (as if tucked in the branches or standing on display)

See Dasher and Santa "peering" into the house to be sure "Not a Creature is Stirring"...?

I will make more of these...it was a TON of FUN!

This was a card I created at my last months workshops. I love creating a card that has bling. Those dazzling diamonds are always a big WOW! I just love the new Ornament punch too! Enjoy.

Hi Shelli

Here is my Christmas card. I LOVED making this one and it was one of those cards that started with my idea and actually finished up looking exactly how I had imagined.
I hope you like it.
