Happy Birthday Creative Challenge

It might not be your birthday today—or anyone else’s that you know. But it might! And I know that there will be birthdays you’ll be celebrating sometime in the coming months. So this month’s challenge is to create a Happy Birthday project. It can be a card, invitation, wrapping, tag, page, gift. . . whatever you want. It just has to somehow tie into a birthday.

I’m looking forward to your projects for this one, because we have plenty of birthdays to celebrate around the Gardner house, and it will be fun to be inspired by your creativity!

Remember, all projects are due by July 31. Happy Birthday!

Hooray! What a great month for this challenge! I am celebrating my birthday on July 16th. Here's a birthday card that I made for our last group swap using the new On a Pedestal stamp set, and of course, some new In Colors too!

OK, well here's the birthday card I recently made for my grand niece's 1st birthday. She came into this world weighing less than a pound, so we're all really excited to have her around today.

It uses the retired Button Bear stamp but I see the new catty offers me a chance to update my little bear.

Thanks Shelli for the great new challenge!

My mind leaps from birthdays to cupcakes, so here is my version of the birthday gift bag (complete with Craft Ink Frosting!) shared at Convention last year.

And here's my daughter's version of the cupcake on her birthday thank you notes (she's 5).

He LOVES the Lots of Bots set!

Here is a second card (alas the set Window Dressings is now Retired) but it was my first card on request for a non-family member...

My card submission is so "cheerful and happy" you could use it for a Birthday greeting or just to say Hello.

Wanted to share my first attempt at making a pop-up cake card - in honor of my drumming son's 16th birthday. He was impressed!
I'll bet there's hardly a month in the year where you aren't celebrating lots of family birthdays!!
