An Autumn Challenge

Whew! I got this posted just in time—doesn't a few minutes before midnight on the 1st count as on time?

This month I thought I’d issue an autumn challenge, with a little explanation. First, I know that some of you live in countries where it’s not autumn. However, most of you are experiencing a change of seasons, and you’re welcome to submit any project that has to do with the season you’re entering (or exiting!).

This is also a great time for going back to school, so you’re welcome to share back-to-school projects (first-day-of-school pages, teacher gifts, whatever). I made some locker magnets to show during my US convention stamping presentation and am planning on giving them to Sidney and Seth. I’ll show those magnets in the next week or so, so watch for that.

Finally, some people celebrate Halloween during this time of year, and you’re welcome to share those ideas as well. I personally enjoy fun, non-scarey Halloween festivities (we’re already planning our Halloween Homecoming party for Shanna, who returns in mid-October), so I’d love to see your Halloween ideas.

You can see it’s pretty wide open. I’m excited to see what you come up with during this change-of-season, back-to-school, Halloween time of year! As always, remember that all projects need to be submitted by the last day of the month (September 30). Thanks for sharing!

Wow, what a busy person you are. Glad you are back with the challenges.

Here are a few cards that I've done so far for fall, which is my favorite time of year in Michigan:

I am an autumn girl at heart--these are the colors that make me feel warm and cozy. Earth Elements appear on my stamping table all through the year, but fall is when they take over and don't leave room for anything else!!

This is a project that I designed for an Open House 2 weeks ago, to highlight some of the new Big Shot products.

Okay, here are 2 fall-ish posts.
These are 2 little mini-albums I created for my father in law and brother in law - I finally got around to doing this now - they were pictures from last fall!

This is a card I made that has a more fall feel in color, although there is no real "occasion" for the card. I just like the medallion!

This one has a funny embellishment....webbing just like people use to decorate their houses at Halloween (you have to look closely): http://thestampinbunny.blogspot.com/2009/08/halloween-week-day-3.html

This one is a Jack O'Lantern waterfall card (click them if the pictures are too small) http://thestampinbunny.blogspot.com/2009/08/halloween-week-day-2.html

This is what I came up with the the older boys on tricker treat night. On the top of the tootsie container is a cut out embossed spider.
On the card the web is made from threads of Whisper White Taffeta. Thanks for looking Shelli!
Happy thoughts,
