Sparkle and Bling Challenge

Thanks so much for your patience--sorry it's taken me so long to get this challenge up.

I've been with my daughters the past few days, and when the topic of the challenge came up, it was only natural that the conversation would eventually end up on one of our favorite topics--bling! We all love sparkle, splash, glitter, and bling.

So how 'bout it? Let's see what you can all come up with. . . . There are lots of options, anything from rhinestone brads to embossing and everything in between.

Good luck! We're ALL looking forward to enjoying your creativity!

I made this card for a Stampin' Royalty challenge a couple months ago and just LOVE how it turned out. (I am however very sad that this die is retiring at the end of the month)

Here is a card I made in the last couple of days that uses home made shimmer spray made from the gold shimmer paint. I think it adds just the right amount of sparkle to the card along with the rhinestones. http://stampscrapdiva.blogspot.com/2010/06/get-inspired-color-challenge-8.html

This scrapbook page uses a ton of dazzling diamonds to outline all of the snowflakes, after I had sprayed them with home made shimmer spray. I have also added a ton of rhinestones for more glitz, lol. http://stampscrapdiva.blogspot.com/2010/04/get-inspired-sketch-14.html

I made this card today and used smooch paint on the butterflies and the flowers to make them sparkle. Half pearls were used as well. Hope you enjoy. What a great challenge, right up my alley!!! http://stampscrapdiva.blogspot.com/2010/04/get-inspired-sketch-14.html

This card uses Shimmer Paint (hand made shimmer spray) as the main image on the card. Also added a ton of rhinestones to this card for more sparkle. It is one of my favorite cards I have made, hope you like it. http://stampscrapdiva.blogspot.com/2010/02/beautiful-shimmer-friend.html

It is hard to see, but there is smooch spritz all over the whole card I just couldn't pick it up in the photo, sorry. It is so sparkly in real life. http://stampscrapdiva.blogspot.com/2010/06/get-inspired-sketch-21.html

Here is a card I made for a friend who just had a baby. http://onyxstamps.com/2010/06/welcome-baby/

Hard to see some of the sparkle in the photo, but in person it shimmers like crazy.

The christmas bauble card is hand stitched using glittered cotton (it is a little hard to see though)
