So it’s only natural to shine the spotlight on Sale-A-Bration for the February Creative Challenge.

Sale-A-Bration runs simultaneously in all markets, and is an exciting opportunity for everyone associated with Stampin’ Up! (customer, hostess, and demonstrator) to receive free product! That means that anyone and everyone can create a project for this challenge . . . all you have to do is use at least one Sale-A-Bration product on your project.

So have fun and celebrate this amazing Stampin’ Up! tradition by sharing your creativity with us!

Love Is in the Air Creative Challenge Winners

The holidays are over, and I’m already looking forward to Valentine’s Day . . . at least in terms of stamping projects. Looking over the Love Is in the Air Creative Challenge projects totally got me in the mood for creating projects for those people I love!

There weren’t as many projects submitted this month as there usually are. . . chalk it up to being the holidays, right? I appreciate those of you who took time out of your busy schedule to share, and I really did enjoy seeing all the great ideas.

Congratulations to the winners!

And just a quick note—when you post a project, please make sure that your link is accessible to the public. There were several submissions from last month that I wasn’t able to open. Please make sure that your link is accessible to all So Shelli readers; I want everyone to be able to view winning projects. That’s kind of been my mantra recently . . . I’ve realized that life is too short to stress out over making things complicated.

Moving forward into the new year, I’m committed to learning how to simplify my life in all areas—even the way I stamp! And for me, that will be difficult, because I do like textures and layers and bling. I’m sure that occasionally I’ll still have to give in and do something completely over the top, but I really am going to try to keep things simple this year.

So I thought we’d start with this month’s Creative Challenge—the Simply Stunning Card Creative Challenge. I know it’s possible to create cards that are simple yet stunning; I’ve seen several this holiday season . . . cards that are so simple yet eye-catching and amazing.

Making this change in my life isn’t going to be easy, but I’m very excited about it! And I know you’ll help inspire me with your creations!

I'm posting a few days late. . . so sorry! I try to get the new Creative Challenge posted by the first of every month, but I slipped up this month. I hope you'll still share your creative ideas though!

It might feel a little early to be talking about Valentine's Day (we haven't even celebrated Christmas yet!), but all you demonstrators know that it always pays to look ahead to and plan for the next holiday. And that's Valentine's Day! Besides, it's never too early--or late--to express love to the most important people in your life.

So this month, I'd love for you to share a Valentine's Day project; it can be a card, a gift, a favor, a page. . . whatever. I can't wait to see your projects, and I suspect others will be looking for great love-themed projects too!

Good luck--and I do hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I want the gifts to be hand-stamped, inexpensive, and gorgeous! How’s that for high expectations? (Well, OK, maybe they don’t have to be gorgeous, but at least look pretty good. . . )

So this year I thought “neighbor” gifts would be the perfect Creative Challenge. I can’t think of any group that is more creative than my blog readers. So how about it? I know some of you have probably had your neighbor gifts designed (and even completed!) long before now, so I’d love for you to share.

And for those of you who, like me, haven’t decided on (or even thought about) your neighbor projects, maybe this challenge will be a motivation to start a little earlier this year. And if all else fails, you can join me on December 1 and check out all the projects and find the perfect idea.

I can’t wait to see what you all come up with. . . .

Christmas Card Creative Challenge Winners

Looking through these entries was a great way to get into the holiday spirit!
