And the Winners Are. . .

We’ve been talking about them for weeks, and I’ve been thinking about them for weeks—and now it’s time to announce the winners of the Workshop of a Lifetime Challenge!

We’ll be posting the winners on Stampin’ Up!’s Demonstrator Web Site tomorrow. The winners were actually notified last week, but we had to do our due diligence and make sure all the guidelines were followed, and now we’re ready to make it official.

I’ve known for a few days where the winners are located, and I’ve spent hours mapping out routes that will make sense with the other business and family responsibilities I have.

As I look at the next three months, I’m certainly excited—and a little nervous. I’ll be doing more workshops than I have in my life, but I can’t wait to meet our demonstrators, along with the guests and potential demonstrators who will be coming to these workshops.

For the next week or two, I’ll be wrapping up as many things as I can at the home office and preparing to be gone a good deal more than I usually am. I’ll also be working on the Make & Takes and demonstration samples. And you can bet I’ll be doing a practice workshop or two in preparation as well!

I’m sure I’ll be posting plenty about these workshops, as well as showing the projects—you’ll probably see more projects from me in the next few months than you’ve seen over the entire last year and a half! And I’m certain the coming weeks will be memorable, fun, and exciting!

I have been ITCHING, literally ITCHING, to tell everyone and their dog that I won this challenge... that I am one of 24 very lucky Demonstrators who will be having the CEO and Founder of Stampin' Up! come to MY TOWN, and put on a workshop WITH ME.

Congratulations to all the winners! I am thrilled to see that one of the winners is in my town, lol! Not much chance I'll see you there, but knowing you're just a few miles away giving a workshop is gonna give me goosebumps, Shelli! Enjoy your travels!

Hugs, Betsy Zabora

How exciting for you and the Demos you'll be visiting with....They worked hard for the opportunity to have you visit with them and work with them side by side! I'm sure you will enjoy it, and it's nice to get to see other parts of the country you may not have seen before however short the stay. So cool........

Any chance you can post the names here? Once all demos have had a chance to find out on the SU! site. Those of us who are not current demos may know some one that won and it would be fun to see names we recognize.

Take care of yourself, Shelli, as you travel. You might want to come to the east coast later after all the snowstorms! We are getting pounded in OH today! Congrats to all the winners! Way to go!

Congrats to all the winners!! Wow - you're going to Williams Lake, B.C.! Although this has nothing to do with stamping, my father's dad's family settled in Horsefly (40 miles NE of Williams Lake) back in 1910 after traveling by covered wagon from Idaho! Although I've been to Vancouver and Victoria, BC numerous times (mostly recently last summer), I've only been able to travel to Horsefly once and that was back in 1976. I know you love to read about family history and you can view Horsefly history at http://www.harperscamp.ca/textual/families.html and http://www.harperscamp.ca/textual/gruhsrd.html . My grandfather was Charlie Gruhs but known as Charlie Bruce as an adult, he and several of his brothers (not all of them) changed their German last name during World War I.

Congratulations to all the winners - especially to my Aunt Dawn (Rapsas)! Hopefully, I can meet you when you come to North Jersey to thank you in person for including my card on your initial blog posting back in August 2008! Maybe this is the year for SU! nail polish at the Convention Memento Mall??? Now, I only have to wait 5 years and 4 months until I become a demo!

What an exciting opportunity for all these demos and their customers. Shelli will make it an experience to remember. I am lucky enough to be the up-line of one of the winners. Way to go Marti....she has only been an demo for a few months and is really working her business. She challenges me monthly. Thanks Shelli for making this possible. It is unbelievable how much you give yourself to your SU Family.

Wow! Having Esther as a downline has been so exciting. I don't know how many times I've said to her "I'm pumped for you!" Now I"m really pumped! Shelli, I don't know if you've ever come to Markham, Ontario before but bring your boots and mittens! Can't wait to meet you!

This is such an exciting contest SU! has put together. Kim Assaly is one of my friend and sideline and she was my Leadership buddy,so I was thrilled to see her name up there! She's very hard-working and focused when it comes to her SU! business so I'm not surprised to see her name up there! She's invited the team to join her in the evening and I'm hoping to make it. I'm not local and it's in the middle of the week so nothing's sure, but I'll try my hardest!

Enjoy your round of workshops! I know you'll make a lot of people happy! :D
