Bird Daze: Day 1

I have a new favorite product—the Elegant Bird Bigz Die from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I like it so much I made it part of my Shelli Signature Collection! I know, I know . . . I’m sure I’ll have a another new favorite product soon, but for now I’m making the most of my new love.

One of the things I love most about this die (besides how simply beautiful it is) is how versatile it is. . . you can use it in so many ways! For the next few days, I’ll be sharing several project ideas with you all. I hope you enjoy!

I thought we’d start with this stunning simple card. (If you saw this month’s Creative Challenge, you’ll see that I’m trying to simplify my life—and my creativity!) This card fits the bill.

It’s made mostly from Occasions Mini Catalog products, including the Attic Boutique Designer Series Papers and Side Notes. I love the dimension and texture of this card, as well as the simple beauty.

If you like this, wait until you see what’s coming tomorrow. . .

Now, see, this is one product that I was not particularly fond of. Until now. It amazes me how often that happens when I see something that has been made using product I initially passed over because it was not my usual style. Simply stunning it is!
