Sweet Valentine's Day Surprises

At Leadership last week, Sara and I mentioned that we were planning a Valentine’s Day prep event of some type. Neither one of us have finalized the details (open house vs. invitation only, time, date—we’ll obviously be nailing those details down in the next day or two because we’ve got to have RSVPs to order our supplies!), but we have finalized the projects. And that’s the most important part, right?

We will be offering two cards (our guests can choose which one they want to make for their sweetheart) plus a coordinating stamped envelope, and then these cello bag toppers for gifts for children or grandchildren.

My favorite new product (at least for today!) is the Labels Collection Framelits, and this is the largest of those dies. It makes such a quick, easy, and great-looking cello topper—all you have to do is come up with fun accents. We added some waffle paper “lace” and a Rhinestone for our girl gift; the boy gift is minus the lace and features a Silver Brad.

You can tuck whatever surprises inside the cello bag, but I’ll be putting our fun A-Maze-ing game in mine, along with a few kisses (chocolate, of course). Even as an adult, I’m intrigued by this fun novelty, and I’m hoping my grandchildren will enjoy it too! You’ll notice that on the back, you can personalize a message to the recipient. (That makes it even more special, PLUS if you include a name on the game, they can’t argue about whose is whose game later!)

I know it’s kind of short notice, but feel free to join us in offering a Valentine Day prep event to your customers—this is the perfect time of year to share our love of stamping!

Oh Shelli,

I can't begin to tell you the memories that just flooded when I saw that you signed your Sidney's valentine G & G. My sisters, my brother and I always refered to our Grandparents on our mother's side as G & G. I have never known anyone else who has ever done that. And they were my favorite people in this whole world. Thanks for the reminder of 2 wonderful people.

What a wonderful idea. I love how simple the cards are and that bag topper is so cute with the game inside. I might just have to have a prep-day with my kiddos to create handmade cards and gifts for everyone!

Shelli - I came to leadership with a friend and loved it! I have a question about the creative journals...is there anyway you can message me private so I can ask you some questions? Thanks for all the creativeness in your company!!!

I like these because several of them would make for a nice "I Love You" grab bag this Valentine's Day. Very cute.
